I just setup Tubepress Pro version 4.1.8. My video gallery loads with thumbnails, but they do nothing when clicked. In Chrome inspector I see some errors.

 

• GET http://www.domain.co...ox/shadowbox.js => Not Found - The shadowbox directory is empty.
• Uncaught ReferenceError: Shadowbox is not defined

What is the problem?

Please follow these directions to install shadowbox, then everything should work with no problems.

Hi there, I was having the same trouble, followed those directions and although the shadow box now opens, nothing loads in the box. I have uninstalled and re-installed to no avail. Ideas?..

There are no videos at that link, just an apology stating they will be fixed soon.

 

Please provide a link to a page where there is a tubepress gallery and enable TubePress Debugging from the Advanced settings tab.

Sorry - I had commented out the code, but just removed the comment tags, so you should be able to see the video galleries now. You'll notice they are clickable but nothing loads in the shadowbox when opened.

Deactivated all plugins. Videos didn't work. Tried steps mentioned in this thread. Videos still do not play. Please, help, ASAP. Videos played in earlier versions. But, stop working at some some point after upgrades.

Brandon is right in that we need to clear up the multiple copies of jQuery first. At worst, that will improve your site's load performance and more likely it will clear up all of these bugs.

 

It's probably your theme that is the culprit - have you tried switching it to one of the WP default themes to test? Looking at your HTML source, we'll need to get rid of these two lines:

<script src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.8.3.min.js"></script>
...
<script src="http://search.excitingads.com/assets/js/jquery-1.11.0.min.js"></script> 

Does that make sense?
