How To Upgrade From Regular Tubepress To Pro

wordpress tubepress-pro

Best Answer eric, 16 April 2015 - 05:36 PM

Thanks for your purchase! We have installation instructions here under the "TubePress Pro" heading. Essentially the steps are:

  1. Purchase and download the TubePress Pro zip file.

  2. Unzip the file and upload the new directory into your site at wp-content/plugins.

  3. From WP Admin > Plugins, disable the free version and activate the Pro version.

  4. Optional. Remove the leftover free version from wp-content/plugins.

Does that help? Let us know if you get caught up anywhere and we'll be glad to assist.

A ReadMe file in the download would be helpful. Not intuitive at all.

[SOLVED] I had to update the PHP version

Hi! I also just bought the pro version and I tried to install it using the Wordpress uploader and via ftp, but either way I get error messages when I try to activate it:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class tubepress_wordpress_ApiIntegrator in /home/storage/b/22/9f/programasemfio/public_html/wp-content/plugins/tubepress_pro_4_1_8/tubepress.php on line 20

or

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 363358 bytes) in /home/storage/b/22/9f/programasemfio/public_html/wp-content/plugins/tubepress_pro_4_1_8/vendor/ehough/iconic/src/main/php/ehough/iconic/dumper/PhpDumper.php on line 1169

Could you help me out?

Thanks!

semfio,

Please update your PHP version, as these are PHP errors. While TubePress works with 5.2.9, it is recommended to be using at least PHP 5.5

Thanks!

Scott,

You can download TubePress Pro from the Marketplace link, at the top of the forums.

Thanks!
