I'm getting these warnings since I installed the latest version:

  • WARNING: wp-content/plugins/tubepress_pro_3_0_1/vendor/ehough/stash/src/main/php/ehough/stash/impl/PearCacheLiteCache.php:403 - fopen(http://www.humortime...d1a822b748fd37f): failed to open stream: HTTP wrapper does not support writeable connections

  • WARNING: wp-content/plugins/tubepress_pro_3_0_1/vendor/ehough/stash/src/main/php/ehough/stash/impl/PearCacheLiteCache.php:322 - flock() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given

These error messages look unfamiliar, and my hunch is that it has something to do with W3 Total Cache. Notice that one of the URLs referenced:

http://www.humortimes.com/wp-content/w3tc/tmpcache_b/cache_c1d0daa4a25096d35d1a822b748fd37f

is pointing to a "w3tc" cache entry. Have you tried clearing out the W3TC caches? If that doesn't fix it, try temporarily disabling TubePress's API cache from WP Admin > Settings > TubePress > Cache.

Let us know, thanks!

Yes, if I turn API cache off, the warnings go away. After flushing all the caches, I tried turning the API cache back on, but I still get those warnings. The page seems to be loading much slower now though.

James, did you also try clearing out the W3TC cache or just turning TubePress's API Cache off?

Thanks!

Cleared all the caches, and when I reinstated to API cache after doing that, the warnings come back:

  1. WARNING: wp-content/plugins/tubepress_pro_3_0_1/vendor/ehough/stash/src/main/php/ehough/stash/impl/PearCacheLiteCache.php:403 - fopen(http://www.humortime...2b2a9bc55561fdc): failed to open stream: HTTP wrapper does not support writeable connections

  3. WARNING: wp-content/plugins/tubepress_pro_3_0_1/vendor/ehough/stash/src/main/php/ehough/stash/impl/PearCacheLiteCache.php:322 - flock() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given

What do you have for the cache directory setting at WP Admin > Settings > TubePress > Cache?

That field actually expects a filesystem path, not a URL. First thing I would try is to set that setting to a blank value (i.e. delete what's there and hit "Save"). TubePress will then attempt to use your webserver's temp directory, which works in most cases.
