I just Installed Tubepress Pro, with an API key. I uploaded a lot of Youtube videos. It worked, but after adding more videos to my same Gallery, I got the error 'YouTube responded with an error: Bad Request'. What to do, where is the bug.

Somewhere it goes wrong, because if I select a few of them, it works. If I select all of them, it doesn't work. What can it be?? The number? The Pro version is unlimited

Can you provide a link to your site and turn on TubePress debugging? This will allow me to see what's going on.

Tubepress Debugging was already on. I just changed my page where it went wrong, but is was this one: http://www.nederland...gelreep/videos/

 

I skipped - I thought - 5 or 6 videos, and then it worked. But there is no maximum number of videos you can place, or is it? I would like to place more Youtube videos on that page

The max results per inquiry/displayed page is limited by the YouTube API to 50 videos.

 

One suggestion would be to create a playlist, and then use TubePress to display your playlist, this will allow you to use ajax-pagination to display near infinite pages of videos (I've seen galleries with 800+ pages of 50 videos per page)

Thanks Brandon, your idea of a Playlist was a good idea. Especially for my Youtube performance. I made a playlist for Tikibad Duinrell, 336 videos: https://www.youtube....j6Th4_ktZe0ci0N

But: when I look at my page (http://www.nederland...uinrell/videos/), not all my 336 videos are displayed, now I see only 36 videos....where does it go wrong??

Hi,

 

So, you have to give the YouTube API some time to populate everything correctly.  I've seen it take up to 5 days for videos to show up in their API.

 

I just hopped over to your page and I saw 200 thumbnails (50 per page, 4 pages) so I'd say give the API some more time.  If the videos aren't there by Monday, post again and I'll take a look at the debug output to see what YouTube is saying.

I'm not seeing anything in YouTube's output to say why its not returning all of your videos.  Have you verified they are all embedable from within the YouTube settings page?
