Hi,

 

my name is Fabio and I've just upgraded from version 2.4.5 to 4.1.8 (I know it's a big jump ) and I can't activate the Wordpress plugin because the plugin create this Fatal error.

 

Fatal error: Class 'ehough_iconic_exception_BadMethodCallException' not found

 

The WP version is 4.1.1 and the PHP version is 5.5.3.

 

Do you have any suggestion or quick fix?

Fabio,

 

That error usually, since you have up to date PHP, indicates a corrupted installation of TubePress.  Can you completely remove it from your site, re-download and then reinstall?

Another option is to disable APC (Advanced PHP Cache) on your system, that should resolve the issue.

We don't run APC on our system. Have you got any other suggestion?

Fatal error: Class 'ehough_iconic_exception_BadMethodCallException' not found

 

That error is coming from a very old version of TubePress. I would do the following:

1. Delete all traces of TubePress from your wp-content/plugins directory. So delete both the old and any new versions you have there.
    
2. Re-install with a fresh copy of TubePress.

That should clear things up. Give it a try?

We have tried to do a clean install, but still getting fatal error. Caching is turned off and there were no traces of Tubepress when installed. Both suggestions have not worked. Please advise on how to resolve.
