Hold the phone!  I changed the 'per-page sorting order' to "none" - just to see if it made any difference.... and it DID!  I could honestly cry haha! I can upgrade now, yay!  Thank you so much Eric - you're a legend.

I'm having the same problem (sorting).  Sort order on YouTube is newest-oldest, API cache is set at 60 seconds - shortcode still displays the last 3 videos, but oldest-newest (after more than an hour). Extremely frustrating because really I want to buy the pro version. I'm close to just giving up and finding another plugin to buy :(

The website in question is http://www.aycliffet....uk/video-vault

Thanks for your supports

noodles,

Are you using a playlist, channel, user...?

Did you follow the directions linked in the previous answer?

Thanks!

Sorry Brandon - I'm using a playlist (sorted newest-oldest in YouTube playlist settings - as per the instructions given on the other thread). I've also tried using videos from User, but it's still the same. I can send screenshots / allow access to backend if you'd like to take a closer look? Thanks for your help.

Could you let us know what setting you have at WP Admin > Settings > TubePress > Feed > Per-page sort order? (screenshot) You'll want to make sure that value is set to either "none" or "newest first". Let us know - thanks!

Hi Eric - thanks for coming back to me!  The 'per-page-sort-order' is set to "Date published (newest first)" and "Order videos by" is set to the same (newest first).  The admin area / settings all seem straightforward enough - the front-end just doesn't seem to want to play ball though! Thanks again for your help - it's really appreciated
