Hello, I have TPP 4.0.2 Standalone-PHP and Eric helped me to solve some issues, but in some moment new issues has appeared and some of the are critical.

 

I'll be short, but if you need some clarifications, I can do that.

 

 

My website is

where Standalone-Php TubePress 4.0.2 currently installed and working.

So issues are: 

1. Russian language: doesn't show current month and year since January, but in December, November everything was fine (it has translation for these months), I guess there is missing translation for January and probably other months. Please fix it if you can revert it back to English months.

2. Open my website and you'll see SearchBox, type: Apple and you will see videos from Apple results, and you can play it, it's nice, then type: Samsung and you'll see Samsung results and you can play it, cool, then go to 2-nd page, you'll see Apple results again.... why?

 

3. Theme - I have my theme, where videos opening under thumbnail, but if you navigate on site few clicks, you'll see Player actually appearing on top of the page, whenever you click it'll stay there, why? I don't know. 

 

4. Okay fine with 4.0.2 let's talk about 4.0.6 which is the most newest version right now:

This release has the same bugs mention above and few new ones:

4.1)  Click on any thumbnail, you'll see white-layer on top of any video, you barely see video, because white-layer doesn't let you see it clearly. 

4.2) Click on any thumbnail, but you'll notice whenever you click, it always showing you top-video and you can't do anything with that, so that release has absolute critical bugs, which make TPP totally useless. 

 

So in total we have 5 bugs which need to be fixed asap! I have sent few messages to support, but didn't get answer

1 and 2: I have brought this to the attention of our developers

3: I was unable to re-create this issue, however as this is a very custom theme, it would be fairly difficult for us to troubleshoot it anyway.

4.1: Your website has an opacity setting in the <div> that holds the iFrame (see below code snippet)

if you remove that opacity style, you will be good to go with the white overlay.

 

4,2: I have asked our developer to look at this, as I am quite perplexed, as the link looks to be requesting the proper video.

4.1. I didn't change anything with player, which file to modify to remove opacity? Also if this opacity exists why it not appearing on 4.0.2? The CSS for 4.0.2 and 4.0.6 is the same, but 4.0.6 showing this opacity all the time.

The opacity style is an element style, not in place due to CSS but is a part of the template itself.

4.1 Okay I will look to element style inside somewhere in template, it worked fine with 4.0.2, but with 4.0.6 it become to bug.

4.2 How about that video, it seems critical bug, when only first video playing under any thumbnail.

that dropbox image looks to be an issue with your hosting provider. I would look into the logs of your hosting and see if they show anything.

 

Also, what version of PHP are you using?

I use 5.3.29 CGI (stable), but I can switch to 5.5.18 (latest)...

 

For hosting errors, I use MediaTemple, never had any problems with other scripts, but these scripts has some problems... please review it and fix it < 

I've opened few .log files from server, but I don't see any problems there...

After one month of waiting to fixing these bugs, neither of then was fixed, I'm very sorry to bother you with my requests, but could you please fix bug with dates all tell me how can I never it back to English dates, because right now my website shows only time and it doesn't make any sense. I will not bother you anymore. Thank you.

I have installed new version 4_0_9  here http://goo.gl/N5G9cEand entire website is broken. Are your checking releases on standalone? why are they so buggy? Could you please take a look to my ftp?

Go to the link I've provided above, there is 4.0.9, showing some error in red and doesn't use theme that I use on my main site (click on top left link).

Two things to fix:

 

[53:41.917018 - ERROR] Rejecting invalid value: 'theme' = 'tubepress/eric' ("Тема" must be one of "tubepress/default, tubepress/legacy-default, tubepress/legacy-sidebar, tubepress/legacy-vimeo, tubepress/legacy-youtube, tubepress/vimeo.com-clone, tubepress/youtube.com-clone". You supplied "tubepress/eric".)

 

and

[53:42.418184 - ERROR] Rejecting invalid value: 'enableJsApi' = '1' (No option with name "enableJsApi".)

 

So, you need to remove both of those from your shortcode. Once you have done that, if the issue persists please let me know.

I am having the same issue as 4.2) where the Top Video is the only one that will play.

Any developments on a possible fix for this?
