Excuse my ignorance, but I wanted to make sure I understand this correctly. Your code can be inserted on my site and will show a gallery of thumbnails that link to my Youtube channel. By that understanding, then anytime I upload a new video to my Youtube channel-it will automatically reflect on the gallery on my site. Is this correct?

Your understanding is 100% correct. You can use TubePress to display your YouTube Channel/Gallery, and everytime you add a video to YouTube, it will automatically be added to your website.
