Sorry for my delayed response. I quietly released version 2.1.0 the other day and have been swamped trying to update the docs so I can make a release announcement. In the meantime, let me try to address your remaining questions (looks like you've been able to correctly answer most)
C. Description of video from Youtube. Can I bring this here for the main video?
In short, this is not currently possible. There's a ticket in for this type of functionality here: http://code.google.c...s/detail?id=169
. Please vote for it to show your support, as features with the most votes are implemented first. In this case, it's currently the second most requested feature, so it's likely I'll begin work on the feature soon.
E. A little off but it references the navigation below which tubepress appears to do. Correct?
Correct, TubePress generates the pagination below (or above) each gallery that spans multiple pages. Of course, you have full control over where the pagination goes, if it shows up at all, and the styling of it.
G. Most Viewed Videos (based on last 30 days views) in this format. Can do?
No problem. You'll want to just use orderBy="viewCount" in your shortcode. e.g.
That will display videos in order of views, with more-viewed videos first.
H. A list of tags from the Youtube channel so the user can link to another page that brings up videos for this channel with just the selected tag. Can do?
You can certainly hard code the links into a custom template, but TubePress currently doesn't have a way of auto-detecting tags for a given gallery. Feature requests are always welcome!
BTW...the listed templates in the docs online didn't work
I'm right smack in the middle of updating the documentation, so I apologize for any confusion. Hoping to have updated the section on templates today.
Hope this answers some of your questions thus far?
