Vimeo plus or pro?

Will I have an advantage with one over the other, as far as TP is concerned (I understand the storage differences and other Vimeo advantages/limitations)?
I am building a website for a church, on a WP platform, to view the churches videos. From what I can tell I just need the WP version but, what, if any, advantage would I have using TP pro over the free WP version?
Thanks for your time, I appreciate you!
Grace. Peace.

You've probably already seen the features comparison page, which details the differences between TubePress Pro and the free version. I think in your situation the big items would be that Pro comes with high-quality thumbnails, and you can also combine multiple video sources into a single, seamless gallery. So if you only expect to have a single feed of videos (e.g. a Vimeo user or album), and you don't care about high-quality thumbs, then I would just go with the free version.
Keep in mind that you can upgrade at any time, so maybe it would be best for you to simply install the free version and see how it works for you.
Hope this answers your question. Let me know what else I can do for you. Thanks!

Does TubePress allow for a way to hook and sort VIMEO PRO account videos by key words or anything like that?
Between Vimeo Pro accounts and regular (free) Vimeo accounts, TubePress doesn't really make much of a distinction. TubePress makes uses of the Vimeo API, which doesn't even really know about Vimeo Pro as far as I can tell. TubePress does provide first-class Vimeo support, most of which you can explore in the feature showcase.
Hope this answers your question - let me know. Thanks!

I'll give it a try. Vimeo has been driving me a bit nuts with their PRO service which allows commercial content. However, the PRO accounts don't have access to filter features such as Albums, Groups, Channels, etc. that the Vimeo "Community" has access to. They provide a "portfolio" feature to allow you to organize your videos into some type of logical sets, but as far as I have seen, there's now way to access portfolios via their API. Their new NutHub Flash based widget does provide a Portfolio widget but you're stuck with their widget and hardly any control over it to blend into your site. Hopefully, with enough PRO (paying) customers over there, they'll figure out a method to pull videos by "portfolio". If ANYONE here on this forum has figured it out, I'd love to hear from you. Cheers!

I can't make Galleries or Channels, only Portfolios.
Any Vimeo member, Pro or not, should be able to create an album, channel, or group. Is there a reason, technical or otherwise, that you can't?

Is this still not working with portfolios?

Hello,
That is correct, the Vimeo API still does not support portfolios.
