Hi
I need to use the "Play Each Video" option to "in a new window on its own" (when a viewer clicks on a thumbnail) as I need to have the video descriptions show when a viewer watches a video and as I can see its currently the only way to do this. The function works when I am displaying videos from a user (using the user shortcode in a post) however when I embed a playlist in another post the function does not work and clicking on a thumbnail simply refreshes the featured video at the top of the gallery. I've tried adding in the playerLocation="static" within my shortcode but it does nothing. As a related aside if I use playerLocation="shadowbox" within that shortcode it works (of no use to me, but at least it says the shortcode is working).
Any ideas?
Thanks for any help,
Cam

Still no luck with this. Has anyone else encountered this problem?
Thanks,

An update to this issue - it seems this happens irrelevant of wether I am using playlist mode or user mode and its only happening on the second gallery I have (I have two posts, each with its own gallery ploaced via shortcodes). The first gallery will obey the "Play Each Video in a new window on its own" option.
Anyone else having any issues like this? Draining my meager brain trying to get this to work.
Thanks gang,
Cam

I'm hogging my own thread I know however further investigation reveals that the open in a new window option will only work (on my setup here at least) when a gallery has more than one "page" of videos. I made some test playlists and played around and then I fill up a gallery beyone a page it will then obey the open in a new window option.
Eric is there some way around this? Without this option there is no real way for me display fill description for the videos which is a must.
Thanks so much,
Cam

Hi Cam,
Could you please provide a link to your site that demonstrates the issue? I'll do my best to help!

Hi Eric
Thanks so much for your help. The url where you'll find the two galleries is:
http://muspace.com.au/MuSpace/watch
You'll see that the gallery with the multiple pages will open vids in a new window and the gallery with a single page of vids won't. And just as some extra info I've reproduced this behaviour in a test post by changing the videos per page option to 2 so the smaller gallery has multiple pages (and when it does vids open in a new window).
Thanks again
