We have the Tubepress Pro version.  We have it configured as a default Youtube view.  A couple of weeks ago we uploaded a handful of videos; however, 2 of them still do not show thumbnails.  They are showing on the Youtube channel but not on this page: http://media.evidenceofeternity.com/

 

We did reload those 2 videos about a week ago and for some reason they still don't show thumbnails.  Has anyone had a similar problem and if so, how did you resolve it?

I see 22 videos on your site.  YouTube is responding with 22 videos and not skipping any of its results.

Thank you for the quick response.  Yes all 22 videos show and we can click on all the thumbnails and each plays the appropriate video; however, videos #20 and #21 do not show a thumbnail... well not a thumbnail of the video.

So, this is very strange.  In the debug output, YouTube returns the proper thumbnail, but then displays that 3 dots thumbnail

 

I'm going to ask our developers to take a look, see if they see something I'm missing.

That's strange indeed, and it's the first issue of this type that we've seen.

 

As a workaround, could you try enabling HQ thumbnails from WP Admin > Settings > TubePress > Thumbnails ? At the very least that should get things working for you and give us more time to investigate. Let us know - thanks!

Brandon/Eric, thanks I set to High Quality and the thumbnails are showing now.

Good to hear that! I'll investigate to try to see why YouTube is returning those "blank" thumbnails.
