Hello,

If you have faced this problem with tubepress and came back with "memory exhausting" error when trying to activiate the plugin, here is the complete solution for this error caused by Tubepress:

This error means that memory limit on your website is 32 MB, you can increase it to 64 Mb by editing php.ini file or contacting your
webhosting support.

The maximum memory limit available for shared hosting is 64MB, and this is enouph for eliminating all conflicting troubles

I arjue the developer of this awesome plugin to find a solution for the memory consumed by it,

Tubepress consumes a huge system memory, about 9 MB !!!!!!!!!

And you willrealize why this is a huge amount when you know that most plugins need betwwen 0.2 to 4 MB of memory, and below are few examples:

Tubepress                                      9 MB
W3 Total Cash                                5.57 MB
WP Supercash                               1.65 MB
All In One Security And FireWall     1.94 Mb
Ads Datafeeder.com                       0.35 MB
Duplicator                                       0.87 MB
Video Tumbnails                             0.93 MB

Good luck for everybody :)

Hi Hatem,

I'm glad you were able to find a solution and I will speak with our developers about reducing the memory footprint of our plugin.

Thanks!
