Candice,
Could you please provide more information? Is the plugin installing but you are unable to click the "activate" link, or?
Thanks!

Hi Candice,
When you say "sent me an email" do you mean a private message on the forum?
I did not receive anything.
Please either post more information here (including attachments) or send me a private message.
Thanks!

Hi Candice,
Please try completely removing TubePress from your wordpress site, and then downloading the newest version (3.1.5) from here: http://community.tub...tubepress-free/
Then, from within the WordPress dashboard, upload the .zip file that you downloaded and try activating TubePress.
Thanks!

I'm getting this error:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Hi Candice,
Is this the error you receive after completely deleting and re-uploading a freshly downloaded version of TubePress? I saw this error when I attempted to activate it for you.
Thanks!

Hi Candice,
I tried uploading tubepress directly to your FTP site (by-passing WordPress) and it still doesn't not activate properly. I am asking our Lead Developer to take a look and see if he can figure out why it is not working.
Thanks!

Hi Candice
This is actually a known issue caused by older versions of PHP.
In order to resolve this issue, you need to update the version of PHP on your site.

Gents, you NEED to do the work to make this compatible with older php version. MOST folks are not running 5.3.6. Seriously, thanks for wasting our time.

Goro,
Please post a link to your website where you are experiencing issues and we will assist you.
Brian,
Older versions of TubePress are compatible with older versions of PHP, however the newer/fancier options are not compatible.
Let us know if we can be of any more assistance.
Thanks!

Update on this bug can be found here. Here's a summary:
- We spent a ton of time trying to fix the issue.
- PHP 5.2.9 or higher is not affected
- Nearly 97% of PHP servers are running PHP 5.2.9 or higher (source)
- Given the above, the solution is to upgrade to PHP 5.2.9 or higher.
- Documentation will be updated today to reflect change in requirements (PHP 5.2.0 -> PHP 5.2.9)
