Hello hiken3,

That shortcode should work properly to display the video in a popup window.

Is it not working properly?  If not, please post a link to the page where you are using that shortcode and ensure that TubePress Debug is set to 'True'

thanks!

Thank you for the quick advice.

I'm using TubePress  3.1.5 and WordPress 3.61.
[tubepress  playerLocation="popup" mode="tag" tagValue="iPad" searchResultsRestrictedToUser="username"]

This is Japanese only site.

But sorry,I can not understand ”TubePress Debug is set to 'True’”.

Thank you.

Hello,

So the reason that your pop-ups are not working is a cross-domain ajax issue.

Your domain name is: dekimouse.org

However your AJAX requests are coming from: http://cat-977549.ki...jaxEndpoint.php

Please follow the directions here: http://docs.tubepres...oss-domain-ajax

Thanks!

Not function site

Hi Hiken,

No, TubePress Pro will unfortunately not resolve this issue.  The problem is a security feature built into all web browsers, known as Cross-Domain JavaScript (AJAX is JavaScript).  Because hackers and other malicious people could use javascript injection to attempt to steal data, no browsers allow javascript to work if it isn't called from the same domain name as the browser is currently browsing.

If you change your WordPress Address to http://dekimouse.org/wp then everything should work properly.

Let us know.

Thanks!

Hello hiken3,

Unfortunately, the cross-domain ajax issue is not something that TubePress, or anyone else, can make work.  It is a security feature built into all browsers and if people were able to bypass it, then it would be a pointless security feature and hackers would exploit it constantly.

Sorry.

Thanks!
