Hi,

 

I don't know why I can't figure this out, but how do I connect tubepress to a youtube user? In the tubepress options, whenever I enter the name of the user ("Frank Fischer") I'm getting the error "userValue" must match the regular expression /\w+/. You supplied "Frank Fischer". But that's just the users name. If I enter the ID instead it also complains. What can I do?

Somehow also the URL doesn't show the username... what's the issue here?

This is a bug/issue introduced by YouTube/Google when they started allowing people to connect their Google+ accounts to YouTube.  Please try downloading TubePress 3.1.2RC as that version should fix this issue.

...and where is this download? From wp directly, it is version 3.1.1 and on the website it doesn't show what version it is.

 

(I will post on many questions because no one that had the same problem as me (can't get it to work) answer back...), I've tried the shortcode and the settings option, nothing works

At the top of this page is a tab called "Marketplace," click that link and then in the middle of the page, you'll see

TubePress (Free) - Rel... 3.1.2.RC2

 

Click that and you can download the newest RC.
