Hi,

I've been digging in the documentation here and on Vimeo plus poking through the forums for the last few hours and haven't found an answer yet. Hoping someone can help me out.

I'm trying to figure out for sure how the vimeo search actually runs its query. Is it a straight word match, or "like" words, and if you make changes to your meta data on your video, does it take a bit for the site to index it to catch up? My testing isn't quite giving me any answers for sure. It looks like it is checking for text from the title, description, and the keywords, but it takes a while to index new content....I think.

Thanks in advance!

Hi ms. mercury,

Unfortunately, the Vimeo documentation is extremely lacking in how the search function works.

In fact, if you go here: http://developer.vim...o.videos.search

you can see just how little information they give.

Sorry we can't be of more help in this matter.

Thanks!
