Hi Allan,
Could you send a link to your site so we could take a first-hand look? That will allow one of our developers to find the problem and come up with a fix.
Thanks!

Hi,
Sure, I am still building it but here is the link...

The video gallery is on the "Showcase" web page.
Thanks,
Allan

Hi,
Just wondered whether you were making any progress with this issue? If possible I'd appreciate a news update as I am working to a deadline on the web site. Thanks in anticipation of your help.
Regards,
Allan

Hi Allan,
I'm sorry that I'm only getting back to you now. Our developers are working on a fix for this and anticipate a release by next week (though unfortunately no firm date). All Wix sites, including yours, will get the fix automatically. I'll post back here once that happens.
Sorry for the inconvenience! Please stand by for an update.

Hi,
Thanks for your last update, hopefully your team is making progress. Just to say that due to this problem I can't make a call at the moment on whether to purchase Tubepress for my site. Because of the problem I had to stop evaluating Tubepress and now my trial has expired.
Sorry to pressure you but I am up against the clock with my design and have to make a decision very soon about how I display video, are you any nearer knowing when you may have a solution?
Thanks very much.

Hi Allan,
We ran into a major technical hurdle during our attempt to fix this bug. We are actively working with the Wix technical team to come up with a solution, but at the moment TubePress simply has no way to detect when your users navigate from page to page. The result is, obviously, that we are unable to detect when a visitor leaves a page containing TubePress.
I apologize if this means that you will be unable to use TubePress for your site. Please know that we are trying our best to get this fixed! I hope that you will agree that TubePress's benefits outweigh this issue, frustrating as it is.
Please let me know what else I can do for you. Thanks.

Thanks for getting back and good luck in resolving the problem. It does mean regrettably that I can't use Tubepress with this issue as it means that by navigating away from a video selected and playing on the gallery page its possible to go to the home page, select the video there and have two videos playing simultaneously. As I'm in the video business that's something I can't ignore. Anyhow hopefully you will resolve it and I will be able to revise.
Thanks again.

There is an additional problem using the tubepress gallery on Wix. If you start a video and then click on another video thumbnail on the same page, the first video's audio does not stop. Now you have the second video/audio running while the first audio is still running. If you click on a third thumbnail, then you will have three audio tracks running.
The tubepress app needs to be able to stop playing the current video/audio when a new thumbnail is clicked. Do you expect that this issue will be corrected on Wix?
Thanks, Dan

Update on this issue. Due to some complex technical details related to how Wix structures their sites, we are entirely dependent on Wix providing us with a technical solution. To help us draw Wix's attention to the matter, I encourage anyone reading this to post a reply to this thread on the Wix forums.
Unfortunately, this is all we can offer at the moment. Feel free to follow up with any questions you may have.
