Hey, I am interested in purchasing Tubepress soon. But before I do I am wondering.. is it possible to include an actual blog area for content anywhere on the Tubepress site? Since text content, articles, etc helps with SEO, this would be a huge help to rank the site as opposed to only videos. So, please tell, anywhere to include a 'real' blog section within the Tubepress framework?
Thanks!
John

Hmm, I realize this sounds like a dumb question upon re-reading. But basically..I plan on making a video blog site which will mainly be showing videos front and center (my audience is extremely visual). But I would like to have a simple section on the top menu titled 'Blog' where I can throw in some content from time to time as opposed to the site just pulling video. Possible?

Hi John,
I think you'd be much better off simply using WordPress as a blogging platform, then simply integrating TubePress to power the videos on your blog. Getting up and running with WordPress is dead simple, and there are a ton of WordPress plugins to aide you with SEO, etc. - and naturally TubePress will be your best bet for video integration :)
What do you think?

Hey Eric,
Thanks for your response. Your advice is duly noted. However I would like to create a site that has a good amount of videos right in front of the user as soon as they click onto the site. Please see the the following url: http://www.simplygoodfood.net/. I am looking to model after this site, except I would like to have a 'blog' section at the top menu there. Do you know of any themes that support this? I guess I was mistaken in thinking that Tubepress was a video blog theme, as opposed to simply a video plugin. But I am curious as to what type of theme would support the home page 'plastered' with videos, and a simple blog link up top. This way I can do 'deep linking' with anchor text to these articles, as opposed to simply home page linking to videos. I'm probably making it sound more confusing than it is, but I'd be grateful to hear your thoughts!
Thanks so much!
