Hi,

I recently upgraded using the auto-upgrade feature in WP to 2.4.1 and now my videos won't play. When you click on the video or the link nothing happens.

Any idea what could be causing this and how to fix it?

Thanks!

Hi,

This is the problem. In your case, you're loading jQuery twice. Once from

http://platform.visi.../j...?ver=3.3.1

and again from

http://www.natalie-b...de...?ver=1.7.1

You'll want to get rid of the first one, as it's outdated...

Thanks a million! How do I get rid of it? Is it in a plugin somewhere?

Ok I just realized "This" was a link and it contains a possible solution. I will hopefully be able to fix it ASAP!

Yeah, as you've probably read by now the best solution is to simply disable plugins one-by-one until you can find who is responsible for that duplicate load. Good luck and let us know if we can be of assistance.

Hi Eric,

I'm going to do that right now. I have 29 to go through so it might take a while!

Thanks,
Natalie

I found the culprit!

It's a plugin called "Visibli". I will email them. What should I say exactly that they do to fix this?

Thanks!

I would say something like

I noticed that this plugin has jQuery hard-coded to load from http://digwp.com/200...e...right-way/. How can we go about making this modification to the plugin?

Something like that should get the conversation started, assuming of course that they're interested in improving their software!
