Videos Continuing To Play In Background When Going To Another Page

I apologize for the delay in response. We have just quietly launched our new ticketing system so that we can't miss support requests - especially from Rapid Response customers like yourself. I'll keep a personal eye on this thread but in the future please open a ticket with us for anything. 

 

Over last week and this week I've continued to try to consistently reproduce this issue. To be frank - I haven't had much success. Here's what we know:

  • It happens with both YouTube and Vimeo
  • It only happens in IE11
  • It happens seemingly randomly
  • It happens about 10% of the time when navigating between pages

Due to the difficulty in reproducing the issue consistently, it's still unclear to me if the problem lies with TubePress or Wix. Wix seems to believe it's not their problem, but who knows.

 

The best I can tell you at the moment is that I am continuing to test and investigate this issue and that I will not give up until I find a solution. I hate that I can't provide a firmer answer and solution. Please feel free to continue to bug us either here or via a ticket. I'll post anything I find.

Since this problem can't be solved i would like to cancel my "Rapid Response", can you please let me know if i need to call/email?
