Just purchased and installed the plugin. YouTube works fine, but I need to use Vimeo and I can't get any Vimeo videos to play. I have entered the Vimeo API Keys. I have a simple test to display vimeo videos from a search keyword, and it returns "No Matching Videos". I also tried plugging in some of the sample shortcodes for vimeo galleries, and every time I receive "No Matching Videos". Why doesn't this work? What am I missing?

Hi,
I'm having similar problems with Vimeo. It used to work and now I get the "No Matching Videos" message too... I have posted detailed information about my problem here:

Sorry for x-posting, but still waiting for a hint to fix this!
thanks,

Eric was extremely helpful and pointed out that the error was caused by my Vimeo API keys were incorrectly copied over. After re-copying them into the Admin site, vimeo now works perfectly. It looks like I had a trailing space at the end of one of them.
Great support, Thank You!

I had the trailing space on one of the sites. Removing it didn't solve the problem!
I'm not sure if my issue is related to the API key or if the shared-hosting server is blocked (403 forbidden) by vimeo because another website with the same IP address is causing the issue.
Eric, any ideas?
thanks,
mudar

Do you have a link to your site that you could share? TubePress's debug output should be able to diagnose the issue for us. Thanks!

Hi eric,
here's the link to my debug page:

The response I get is:
and more details about my issue here:
http://tubepress.com...=19&t=845#p2711
on the vimeo forum, their staff blames the simple api for hitting the rate limit and blocking the ip address of the shared host. But from what I understand tubpress uses the advanced api, right?
thanks,
