Galleries Not Loading As Before

Hi Luca!

Thanks for the screencast. This behavior is a side effect of the "new" embed code for TubePress Express. Instead of a fixed-height <iframe>, the embed code injects a flexible <iframe> that readjusts its size as needed. Initially that injected <iframe> has a height of zero, which causes the "jumpiness" that you see when TubePress resizes it.

I've just published a minor change which I think makes it far less noticeable - maybe even imperceptible. Could you recheck your site to see if it looks any better? Basically all I did was start the <iframe> height at 500px, which pushes it below the bottom edge of the browser.

Let me know - thanks!

Hello! When you launched the new TubePress Express snippet in the last weeks I noticed a different behavior from the previous one. In the old version when I loaded a gallery it all loaded instantly and completely; now with the new snippet it first loads the title of the featured video, than the featured video, than all the other thumbnails videos. It's a matter of ms most of the times, but sometimes it takes 1 or 2 seconds. It's not a problem, of course. I just would like to know if it's a normal behavior and if you have changed something in the loading procedure of TubePress. I've prepared for you a (very low-fi) video where you can see what I'm talking about: LINK. When in the video I select the 3rd page from the menu you'll better notice this thing.

Let me know if you need any additional info. Thank you  :)

Luca,

I've passed this off to Eric so that he can answer your inquiry.

Thanks!

p.s. we are just now bringing up our new support system. Please feel free to open a ticket with us if you'd like. The system is fully functional and we are cleaning up some rough edges of the UI.

Hello Eric, thank you for your reply! You definitely solved the problem, thank you! I've opened a new ticket (Case ID: 24) for the multiple sources issue, so we can go on with it from the ticket :)
