Brandon , thanks so much for your reply, during the night I woke up and realized that just after starting with you tube , they allowed me a one off chance to change my username, (it's now 6am where I am now) 
I leapt out of bed and tried the first user name and it worked , so problem solved, although it may be of interest to others.

Hi everyone I'm a newbee too TubePress
When embedding the channel user name it works well except with my own channel , It comes up with "Invalid Value For Parameter: Username "
I was wondering if it's because I'm on you tube France or could it be another problem. Or maybe there's another way by using the channel address for example.

Hi Phill,
Being on YouTube France shouldn't be an issue. Could you please provide either a link to the page where your TubePress installation is in use, or provide me with your YouTube channel username?
Also, if your account is new, it does take some time for the YouTube API to catch up with YouTube.
