You can also go to Settings > TubePress > Meta and uncheck which ever meta data you do not want to show up.

Is there any way to disable the view count feature so it does not show below the title/length?

Never mind. Figured it out (turned off color for that data).

I agree that is the way it should work. However View Count is not one of the options that can be checked (or unchecked) in the meta section. There are 8 other choices, just not that one.
Maybe something to add in a future release. In any case, the workaround took care of it for us.
