Iam using the Tubepress Wordpress plugin, not the proversion though.
I need to place adspace on the shadowbox when the video is playing.
How could i go about doing that. I basically need to know how to add additional content on to the video
playing.

Unfortunately that level of customization is beyond the scope of support provided on this forum.
I will point you in the right direction, you'll want to modify the shadowbox.tpl.php file located: \wp\wp-content\plugins\tubepress_pro_3_1_6\src\main\resources\default-themes\default\players
