Hi Everybody,

I've installed Tubepress to display a gallery about my vimeo channel... And it just displays "no matching videos".

I've checked on vimeo, everybody can share my videos.

And more, I've tried with a simple search "cat" on vimeo (on the settings page), and I still have the same message...

The plugin works well with youbube...

My wordpress version is 3.1.1.

Please, if you can help me, I really need this features working with vimeo...

I have the same problem with displaying Vimeo on my site.
Vimeo API setup was done according to this tutorial:

All videos are public.

Looking at the HTML source of your debug output, you can see the raw result from Vimeo. In this case, the error is

The oauth_timestamp passed is either too far in the past or in the future. Vimeo thinks the current time is 1303501765

Vimeo's API is sensitive to the time of day. So what this means is that your server's time is set incorrectly.

Now, there is another problem too : there is a video in my sidebar, but I never put the Tubepress widget on my sidebar area...
This video is from our Youtube Channel, even if on my Tubepress option page, I'd choosen my vimeo channel !!!
O_o

And if it's a server's time configuration issue too, how can I fix it properly ?
In the Tubepress's option page with "Date format" ?

Im having the same problem " no matching videos" with vimeo
i have tried different vimeo accounts/user names/api keys
my server's time is set correctly i assume since in debug mode i dont get the warning
no luck! already spent a few days trying to fix this.

I am willing to buy the pro version but it needs to work with vimeo since all my videos are on vimeo.

Any tipps?

Hi!

Do you have a link to your site that you could share? I'd be interesting in taking a first-hand look at your sitet, especially since TubePress writes the raw response from Vimeo into the HTML source of the debug output. Feel free to PM me if you can't share the address publicly.

Another thing that would be good for troubleshooting is the output of phpinfo.

You were right! I talked to my hosting-provider and they fixed it.

Hi Florian,

OK, it looks like your hosting provider routes all outbound HTTP connection requests from your server through a Squid proxy, and this Squid proxy is blocking TubePress from talking to Vimeo. Here's a screenshot of the error: http://i.imgur.com/wYJRx.png

You'll need to contact your hosting support and ask for them to open this up. Let them know that TubePress will need to talk over HTTP port 80 to vimeo.com. And let me know how else I can help you get this resolved.
