Hello,

have a problem with tubpress:

- Plugin shows thumbs like it should but if I klick on one just a Lightbox effect apperas (it's not the effect from tubpress, this is setup to shadowbox, also if I change style didn't change). It seems that the Lightbox effect comes from Nextgen. Anyway, it shows no video.

 

Before updating everything to newer version everything worked fine.

 

What can I do to change it. I'm lost in php (no expert!)

Hi Christoph,

 

For starters, in order to know for certain whether the Nextgen plugin is causing this to happen or not, could you please try disabling the nextgen plugin and then testing TubePress.

 

If the lightbox effect doesn't show up anymore, then it is in fact Nextgen that is causing the lightbox to appear (which is what I also suspect is causing this).

 

If it is, I will have to speak to our developer about any steps to avoid this.

Hello,

I've tried. So I deactivate NextGen. After refreshing the page tubepress worked finde. Reactive NextGen and again only the Lightbox appears.

 

(Funny  is, that I've tried my video side before I made this test: I saw that behind the Lightbox the videos opens in shadowbox. In IE and FF. Now after reactivating only the lightbox apperas, no video, both browsers.)

Hello Evil Knivel,

 

You need to speak with the developers of NextGen and ask them how you can disable the lightbox feature (it is applied to all images that use an <img> tag) on certain pages/images.
