I want the Search box up there, exactly like that and without a sidebar title, on the sidebar. Shortcodes won't work. Is there a way to do it?

Hi orucdim,

I apologize, I somehow did not see your post until today.

Please take a look at this documentation page: https://docs.tubepre...ive-search.html

It will explain to you how to use TubePress with interactive search.

Please let us know if you have any further questions and again, please accept my apologies for only now responding.

Thanks!

Hey brandon, was getting worried there.

I already implemented Ajax Search in my page as you can see but now I want to put that into my sidebar BUT when I try to put it with the help of a text widget, only the shortcode itself appears (like [tubepress searcinput= ..]  I think enabling TubePress shortcodes to work inside widgets would solve the problem. Is there any way I can do that? Tried this http://digwp.com/201...des-in-widgets/ and sadly it doesn't work with TubePress.

Hi orucdim,

Please follow the directions here:  http://docs.tubepres...press-templates

You will have to modify the template for the sidebar area of your site.

Also, we are always happy to receive feature requests: https://github.com/t...ment&state=open

Let us know!

Thanks!
