Hi, I launched a site back in Febuary of last year using several plugins including the advanced custom fields & of course, the tubepress plugin. Just recently (not sure when exactly), but not too long ago I got a report from the client saying that none of the videos seemed to work anymore.

http://friedmanampli...om/media/video/

After looking for myself I verified this, I updated the tubepress plugin thinking that could be the cause but no luck. I use the Advance Custom Fields to render out different content repeaters on the video & product pages which before displayed the custom youtube product playlists. I added the shortcode directly on a page to test & that displayed just fine. So it seems this issue is coming from how the dynamic repeaters are loading the shortcode. The Repeater uses the wysiwc text fields to display the shortcode on these pages. Again this used to work just fine, I know it.

 Any help would be COMPLETELY appreciated as the client just wants me to move away from using the tubepress plugin & frankly, I like it, I don't want to give up just yet.

-Brent

Hi Brent,

The most likely cause of this issue is that the shortcode needs to actually be put in using the "Text" editor instead of the visual editor.

let us know!

Thanks!

I just purchased the Pro today but my shortcode doesn't work at all. Of course, I did in a 'text' mode...

[tubepress mode="playlist" playlistValue="PLxZ6sqhmuqDMcSV1ae7JOH3LTCBG7qXsU" theme="youtube" playerLocation="shadowbox" resultCountCap="25"]

on URL: http://truyenphatgia...uyen-hoat-hinh/

Please help!!!

Thanks,

Danny

Hi Truyenph,

Please try creating a custom theme for use on that page.  The directions can be found here: http://tubepress.com...ustomize:Themes

Let us know.

Thanks!

Ok update, I purchased the tubepress pro version as I figured that could be one of the culprits behind the shortcode suddenly not execuiting, not the case unfortunately.

So I have deleted every instance of the old tubepress free version from wordpress & the directory, installed pro...

now when I go to the page...

http://friedmanampli...com/media/video

I get the following code on the top of the page

<br/>
<b>Warning</b>: include(/home/friedman/public_html/wp-content/plugins/tubepress_pro_x_y_z/src/main/php/classes/TubePressPro.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in <b>/home/friedman/public_html/wp-content/themes/friedman/header.php</b> on line <b>9</b><br/>
<br/>
<b>Warning</b>: include(): Failed opening '/home/friedman/public_html/wp-content/plugins/tubepress_pro_x_y_z/src/main/php/classes/TubePressPro.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in <b>/home/friedman/public_html/wp-content/themes/friedman/header.php</b> on line <b>9</b><br/>

So an additional problem there, plus the video shortcode still wont execuite. The client is getting pretty on edge about this & I really need to get it fixed. It did work for the longest time, then suddenly stopped.

I use the wordpress Advanced Custom Fields (Wysiwyg Editor, with full advanced toolbar) to load all of the playlists on each page with the corresponding php on the video page (which is a custom php template file).

Any ideas or help guys, I am sort of at my whits end here.
