Having a few problems with the Tubepress plugin:

1. Even though I have specified a playlist in the settings, it is still just showing videos from a certain user.

2. When deactivating/reactivating the plugin, I get some errors:

"The plugin generated 239 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin."

3. The plugin is causing a conflict with Nivo Slider - the settings for NS don't load when Tubepress is active. I have contacted the developers of NivoSlider and they have said that since there are errors when activating Tubepress, this would be something you would need to resolve.

Are you able to provide any answers/support? The playlist is probably the most urgent issue for this site.

Thanks.

rossautomatica,

1) It could be that the radio dot next to use playlist is not selected.  Could you please try inserting the TubePress shortcode directly into the page you would like it to be displayed on.

In order to display a specific playlist, the shortcode will look something like this:

[tubepress mode="playlist" playlistValue="6813408AE8D50E6F"]

In order to better troubleshoot what the issue is, please post a link to a page that has this issue.

2) I am not sure what is causing that error, as I have been unable to re-create the error on a testing machine.

3) The most likely reason that your Nivo Slider is stopping to work when TubePress is activated on your page is due to multiple instances of jQuery loading, which you can find troubleshooting information here: http://tubepress.com...ances_of_jQuery

Let us know if you need any more assistance.

Thanks!

Hi Brandon,

Thanks for your reply.

1) Sorry - it looks like my client has actually changed the videos in the playlist so it's actually working fine. Sorry about that.

2) A few other people have mentioned that error on the forums.. it's not a big deal, but it's probably something that should be addressed if a few people are coming across it when it they activate Tubepress!

3) I understand that -- however it's strange that it was working without any problems before. It's just since error 2) has been happening that this has become an issue...

Thanks,

Ross

Hi. I'm new to the forum. I hope I can get some help. Here's my problem.

I upgraded Wordpress to 3.6 and ran a backup, then ran a plug in to clean up some posts.

The next day I noticed my first page was gone. It's the one that loads my Wordpress "tubepress" playlist? I bought this website

and am pretty new at Wordpress. The site is mycomicspace.com and it loads stand up comedian videos. When

you go there it doesn't load the first page automatically like it used to.

Do I need to generate a playlist code to go in this statement   tubepress mode="playlist" playlistValue="###############"]

or how do I make the load page.. also can we get free support from Tubepress.org?

Help please..

thanks

Mike

Michael,

In viewing your website at: mycomicspace.com I can see a tubepress playlist.

Please let us know if you are still experiencing any issues.

Thanks!
