Hi,

I did some more troubleshooting and resolved the problem (surprisingly) myself. Should anyone experience similar issue try to disable SEO or similar plugins that might putting unfiltered html into the meta description content.

I have updated to the latest wordpress version and Tubepress at the time of this post. I have used the default shortcode on my site page; however for some unknown reason the thumbnail gallery is seemingly breaking out of my site page container and is appearing at the very top of my page (even above my site nav). To make matters even more confusing the gallery is also appearing exactly within my page container as well.

if you have a look at my site:partylink.co.uk source code, you can see that there are two divs (line 21,287) basically being embedded for the one instance of shortcode that i use...Please help, because this is frustrating me and i have spent countless hours trying to figure it out myself.

mentionuk,

It appears as though you have two Tubepress shortcodes being inserted into your website.  However, I can not verify this unless you can turn on tubepress debugging from within WP Settings > Tubepress > Advanced

Also, check your code using the text editor (instead of the visual editor) and make sure you only have one  instance of Tubepress shortcode on your page.

Let us know.

Thanks!

the page created is new and I can confirm the following: the shortcode was/is only inserted once and I have used the text editor to type the shortcode in. This is why I have been so frustrated, because everything seem to be working perfectly.

Note: debugging is now on.

Ps: I appreciate the quick reply and I do intend to go pro assuming this issue can be resolved

mentionuk,

The tubepress debug output is also seeing two insertions of the tubepress shortcode.  Could you please try switching your theme to one of the default themes and seeing if the issue continues.

If it does, please let us know.

If, however, it doesn't continue, you will have to speak with MooTools (the creators of your theme) and ask them why this issue is occuring.

Let us know.

Thanks!
