Sheila,
Your host appears to be attempting to use IPv6, which YouTube is only supporting if you are a participant in their Google over IPv6 program. Tubepress, and I believe Wordpress as well, are not currently members of that program. You will need to set your server to use IPv4 in order to communicate with YouTube.
Please contact your Hosting Providers Technical Support to assist you with this.
Let us know.
Thanks!

Sheila,
I just looked at your website: tidalrecords.ca/videos/ and it appears that TubePress is working fine. I refreshed the site multiple times and did not experience the issue.
Please let us know if you are still experiencing the issue and if so, please post a link directly to the page you are having the issue.
Thanks!

It appears I am having this issue again (http://tidalrecords.ca/videos/)
"Failed to connect to 2607:f8b0:400b:806::1003: Network is unreachable"

Sheila,
This is a very strange error your are receiving as it is saying that it can not connect to an IPv6 address. Under Wordpress Settings > TubePress > Advanced, could you try changing the HTTP Method from "GET" to "POST" and let us know please.
Thanks!

Hi Sheila,
I just visited your site and indeed am seeing the error:
Failed to connect to 2607:f8b0:400b:806::1008: Network is unreachable
What this means is that your web server is attempting to contact Google over IPv6. That alone isn't a problem, as Google has most of its services accessible via IPv6. But your webserver is for some reason not configured to route packets over IPv6, so the OS gives up.
This is something that your host will need to address, as TubePress relies on the underlying network stack to be configured properly. I'm sorry that we can't be of more help, but this is unfortunately out of our hands :/
