hi there,

i've been using tubepress here http://trenchcity.com/gig-info/ and it was working fine, but when i switched to pro, widget thumbnails are not working.

that's the shortcode in the tubepress widget i'm using: [tubepress mode="playlist" playlistValue="452A7FB259C88116" playerLocation="shadowbox" description="false"]

 

i've tried to deactivate all the other plugins, but the issue was still there. i was trying different browsers as well..

 

any ideas?

Hi Adam,

 

When I go to the above linked website and click on "Videos," I am able to see the thumbnails for all of your videos.

 

Please check your website and if you are experiencing an issue still, please post a link directly to the page you are experiencing the issue on.

hi there,

yes, 'video' section works fine, but that's not why i've message you. WIDGET video thumbnails are not working and that's the issue. if you go there: http://trenchcity.com/gig-info/ and check on the right hand side, you'll see thumbnails, but they're not clickable. they were working fine with non-pro tubepress version, but when i went pro, they've stopped working.

Sorry about that.

 

So it appears that your widget is not able to find the following files:

 

http://trenchcity.com/wp-content/plugins/tubepress_pro_3_0_0/src/main/web/players/shadowbox/lib/shadowbox.js

http://trenchcity.com/wp-content/plugins/tubepress_pro_3_0_0/src/main/web/players/shadowbox/lib/shadowbox.css

The reason is that it is missing a '/' in the source.

 

They should look like this:

 

http://trenchcity.com/wp-content/plugins/tubepress_pro_3_0_0//src/main/web/players/shadowbox/lib/shadowbox.js

http://trenchcity.com/wp-content/plugins/tubepress_pro_3_0_0//src/main/web/players/shadowbox/lib/shadowbox.css

Please try replacing these links within your header, and the widget should start working properly.

sorry, i don't really understand where exactly and how to replace that? in the header.php of my template you mean? how exactly? 

it was working fine before i've upgraded to pro version, so i don't really understand what's wrong with that.

Hi Adam,

 

Looking into this, the problem is simply that you'll need to manually install Shadowbox.js as described in the documentation. Shadowbox.js isn't bundled with TubePress Pro due to licensing restrictions, but it takes just a minute to install.

hi there,

i've tried this fix.. unfortunately, it doesn't work properly. the shadowbox seems to work, but then it doesn't load videos. 

any ideas?

I just tried the videos in the sidebar of the page you linked, and they appear to be working just fine.

 

Please re-check them and let us know if you are still experiencing difficulties.
