Hi,

Sure, we should be able to help you out. I have a few questions for you to help us get to the bottom of the issue. Which browser and OS did you use in the screenshot? Does it happen in all browsers? Do you see the same thing when you view the second gallery at http://tubepress.com/kitchen-sink/ ?

Lastly, are you able to share a link to your site? Feel free to PM me if you don't want to share it with the world. Thanks!

I'm using Firedox 4 beta and I have this same problem. It is just a CSS issue, obviously. But I don't want to hack the core files.

This also happens in Chromium (Chrome) and Safari. As well, the video type (e.g. "H.264") appears instead of a play button if autoplay is disabled.

In a word, it looks bad. My site is beta at the moment and protected. If you really need to see it, PM me.

Thanks.

Also, in the documentation, you refer to the 'longtail' directory, to install the JW FLV Media Player but there is no such directory. Has this changed?

I have this same problem

Have you tried using Firebug to examine the overflow? That's what I would do to pinpoint which CSS file is getting in the way. If you're worried about making your TubePress CSS changes "upgrade proof," I would recommending using a TubePress theme.

Assuming you're using the free version of TubePress, you don't have to mess with the JW FLV Player as it comes bundled. But the docs refer to the i/lib/embedded_flash/longtail/lib/ directory, which is a valid path.

Hope this helps.

I use firebug all of the time but this is not a simple issue. I've created my own theme so that isn't the problem: it is a computed style, based on the size of the video. In other words, it is not easily changed. Even if the max dimensions of the video are reduced, you still get the overflow problem. It is very annoying. Hopefully there is some other fix.
