hi there,

i'm using your plugin on my website and just bought a pro version as well. unfortunately, when i'm trying to display this user's videos http://www.youtube.com/user/PMILtd2011 it doesn't work. it shows No matching videos  message. i was trying to use tubepress with another user and it's working fine. any ideas?

Hi Adam,

 

I have tested using the above mentioned users video's on my testing
website and they appear to show correctly.  Are you using shortcode to
insert this users video's on your website, or are you using the WP >
Settings > Tubepress >Which Videos? > Youtube > Videos from
this YouTube user?

 

If you are using the shortcode, please post the code here that you are using so we may troubleshoot it for you.

 

If you are using the settings page, please make sure that the "radio" button is checked next to "Videos from this YouTube user".

i'm using WP >

Settings > Tubepress >Which Videos? > Youtube > Videos from this YouTube user..  and then [tubepress] shortcode on the page.

 

radio button is checked next to 'videos from this youtube user'! weird thing is that when i try to show videos from another user it does work, it's just this one particular user which gives No matching videos

 

should i send you login details to the site so you can have a quick look?

Could you please post a link to your site and ensure that Debugging for Tubepress is turned on so that we may take a look at the debug output from your website and see what's going on.

Hi Adam,
 
The error, from YouTube, for each of your videos is

This video is not available in your region.

This means that YouTube is refusing to serve the video to the physical location of your server. The only way around this is to ask the owner of the videos (YouTube user PMILtd2011) to release this restriction. Annoying, I know, but we have to play by YouTube's rules :/

i've been trying to find out settings on youtube to get it working, but couldn't figure it out. however, i've installed tubepress on another website and videos from this user work, so i don't think it's territory restriction issue.

 

any more ideas? i'd really like to get it working.

sorry, i think you might be right in the end. i just cannot figure out how to change these settings on youtube..:/ i've logged in, look at the settings and still nothing..

I am having this problem, too. After placing the [tubepress] shortcode in my page, all I'm getting is the message No Matching Videos. I'm attempting to load videos from a YouTube user - "WhitetailFix". At first I thought it was a problem w/ the new Google+ name. So, I unlinked my Google+ and YouTube accounts and changed the username. Didn't help. I tried the fix that you showed in another post.

I tried another username, and it worked fine. What could possibly be the problem?

Update:

I created a playlist for all my videos. This works in TubePress on my site now. If there's a fix for the username issue. I'd like to know about it still. Thank you!

The youtube user I'm having issues with is: http://www.youtube.com/user/ohbethel

 

I get the "No Matching Videos" message. 

 

Is it because she only has one video?

Please post a link to the page you are having this issue with. Also, please ensure that Tubepress debugging is enabled in Settings > TubePress > Advanced > Debug
