So I upgraded my wordpress version and suddenly clicking on video thumbnails won't load the next video. I've uninstalled the plugin completely and upgraded to the newest version but it still doesn't work.

Has there been a definitive solution yet? Or can someone help me please?  Thanks :)

Hi,

The problem is that tubepress.js is being loaded at the bottom of your HTML source. Until Issue 151 is officially implemented, you'll need to load tubepress.js at the top of your page. Do you happen to know how all of your scripts got moved to the bottom of your page? It's likely a setting with your theme, but difficult to say for sure.

What do you think?

Yes, at some point we moved .js files to the bottom to aid in load time of the site which had gotten REAL slow. We used w3 total cache. I've set the caching plugin to move that particular file (js/tubepress.js?ver=3.5.1) back to before </head> but it doesn't seemed to have worked.

Could you double check that tubepress.js did indeed get moved to the top of the page? It's still showing up on line 497 (near the bottom) for me. Maybe I'm looking at a cached version of the page?

Also, we've put together a list of our favorite performance tips. Hopefully some of that will be useful to you.

yeah, it's programmed in W3total cache to be in the head, but it hasn't moved for me, either. I'll see if that plugin developer has any ideas. So when will that issue 51 be available?

We have the bulk of the code written for Issue 151. It's mostly a matter of cleaning it up and packaging it. I'm guessing it will be available in a month or two.

So I just upgraded to the latest version, hoping this issue would resolve. No luck. Any updates? Thanks.

Hello Stephanie,

Could you please recheck your site and see if it is working for you?  Try pressing "CTRL + F5" in order to completely reload the site, instead of from cache.

When looking at your site, it appears that tubepress.js is loading at the bottom of your page and everything appears to be working properly.

Let us know.

Thanks!

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond.

No, it still isn't working for us and we've checked on several PCs. New clips never load and none of them play.

Any new suggestions?

Stephanie,

Your site is now returning a 404 Not Found error for the following file/location:

"NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://www.scandalou...b/js/gallery.js"

Please verify that the file is actually located in that spot, and if not either change the file location or the include that is pointing to that location.

Once you have done that, your site should be working fine

Thanks!
