Getting "connect() timed out!" but it worked last [SOLVED]

Best Answer Anonymous, 17 January 2013 - 11:48 PM

Thank you for looking into this Eric. It's actually working fine now. I assume it was an issue with Vimeo since your vimeo gallery was also down (on two different computers and multiple browsers) for a short while when I was having the issues with my site. All seems well now.

Thank you very much for looking into it!

Hi there,

Here's the page with tubepress installed: http://foundationbib...line-sermons-2/

Last night I got tubepress free working but upon checking it this morning I am getting an error:
connect() timed out!

When I enable AIP Cache I get:
Operation timed out after 5002 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

After enabling and disabling some of the transports (I saw this recommendation somewhere on this forum) I get:
name lookup timed out.

Incase this has anything to do with anything, when I make shortcode changes in my page some of them are not being implimented, rather are keeping the default TubePress options. For example if I write resultsPerPage="1" resultCountCap="1" I am still getting 20 results (as that is what my TubePress options are set to.

Thank you for any thoughts!

-Stephen

Hi Stephen,

Are you still experiencing this issue? I visited your galleries (http://foundationbib...om/commercials/) and TubePress seems to be operating normally.

Let us know. Thanks!
