I've tried 3 different Google Map plugins and none work while Tubepress is active. Can you help with this please??

I was using Comprehensive Google Map Plugin before I installed Tubepress and really liked it, but now I can't use it. I've also tried WP Google Maps and Leaflet Maps Marker with no luck. I either get a "error 500" right away when activating these or get a "500 error" when trying to access the Pages or Posts links on the Wordpress dashboard.

Please help.

Thanks!

jim

Hi Jim,

It looks like you don't currently have the maps plugin active? It's difficult to say exactly what the problem is without getting a first-hand look. I would start by following the client-side troubleshooting instructions, if you haven't already. Let us now how else we can help. Thanks!

Thanks for the response and link...

I have the plugin active now. The funny thing is; is that both plugins work on the webpage. I can't access my Wordpress "Pages" or "Post" links from within the Wordpress Console. I get this error if I click either of these links (no others)....

Server error
The website encountered an error while retrieving http://cfitstudio.co...mi..._type=page. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.
Here are some suggestions:
Reload this webpage later.
HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.

If I disable either the Google Mapl plugin or Tubepress I can manage pages and posts again. What causes this?

Thanks!

Jim

A little more info from Firebug. When I click the "Pages" link in Wordpress Firebug reports....

The character encoding of the HTML document was not declared. The document will render with garbled text in some browser configurations if the document contains characters from outside the US-ASCII range. The character encoding of the page must be declared in the document or in the transfer protocol.
