Hi!
I've set up around ten pages of galleries from playlists from youtube
(Shortcode [tubepress mode="playlist" playlistValue="XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX"])
It's working fine in regular browsers but when I try to view it on my iPhone nothing happens when I tap the videos. I do know about the "mode="mobile"" thing but I don't know how to display a youtube playlist this way ([tubepress mode="mobile" mode="playlist" playlistValue="xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"] didn't work)
I'm also unsure about how to enable the mobile version for mobile browsers only or if I need to make two versions of every page and get them to show either on the regular or mobile site.
I'm using the default theme with shadowbox and using youtube's own player.
I'm using WPtouch Pro to display a mobile version of my site.

Could you share a link to your gallery for us to take a look? You don't have to do anything special to get any TubePress gallery to work normally on mobile devices. It should detect its environment and adapt accordingly.

Ok, it's usually in maintenance mode but I deactivated it for onw of the galleries, you can view it here: http://faceblog.eu/p...och-filmer/ht07
Oh, and thanks for replying so quickly

Unfortunately Shadowbox just doesn't work on iOS devices. You can verify for yourself at http://www.shadowbox-js.com/. So you'll have to either use something besides shadowbox or go the route of having two different versions of each page.
Hope this helps..

Ok, thanks!
I tried switching the view mode with some mixed results.
While some options made the video viewable on the iPhone, it wasn't perfect.
jqModal - Looks quite good in a regular browser window but comes up misaligned on the iphone (half of the video is out of bounds, which is more of an aesthetic matter as the actual video isn't played inside the browser window). It does however look like the video does fit, if properly aligned. Also, the grey shaded area doesn't cover the entire page.
Standard - Looks quite good in a regular browser window but comes out too wide on the iPhone (roughly 60 % of the video is shown)
I have tried it with the standard theme as well (instead of wptouch) and both jqModal and Standard view modes look fine. So I'm aware that the problems are due to a conflict between the wptouchpro plugin and this one. My suspicion is that is has something to do with the way wptouchpro restricts the width so I'm hoping that it might be fixable by tweaking the margin / padding / floating / aligning of the video. The best thing would be to get jqModal to work.
I totally understand that this might be well beyond the scope of normal support so if it's time for me to give up, that's fine
Thanks
Jess

Thanks for the detailed follow up - will be helpful for other users having an issue like this.
Yeah, reworking TubePress to work perfectly with wptouch isn't a priority right now. But feature requests are always welcome, and features with the most votes will be implemented first.
Thanks again.
