I upgraded this plug in in wordpress, which then deactivated it automatically. I reactivated it but the plug-in doesn't work and won't show any of my media on the wordpress pages anymore. I get the "No videos to populate this TubePress gallery." message. Any ideas what's wrong?

thnx!

James

Hi James,

Do you have a link to your gallery that you could send along? Feel free to PM me if you don't want to share it. Please make sure debugging is enabled from WP Admin > Settings > TubePress > Advanced.

Are you using Vimeo? If so, please check out these instructions (and this explanation).

You just need to type in your existing Vimeo secret and key into the TubePress settings at WP Admin > Settings > TubePress > Provider Feed. Near the bottom of the page.

If you don't have your secret and/or key, you can retrieve them from here: . Sorry for the hassle - I think you know my feelings on this whole Vimeo debacle.

I inputed those keys which brought back my pages but the thumbnails are now out of focus and the media won't play (i'm using fancybox). Everything was working fine before the upgrade.

Thnx

My bad - I forgot that you're using TubePress Pro. Since the source for TubePress Pro is not public, it doesn't go through the standard WordPress update mechanism. The good news is that it's still easy to upgrade. Here's what you need to do:

You will not have to re-enter your Vimeo key/secret (whew). Give that a whirl and you should be all set. Let me know otherwise. Thanks!

Im having the same issue.

I am using the free version and i have added and saved my vimeo key.

I honestly can't see anything else on MY end that needs to be done.

Its just not working.
