One of my WordPress sites runs very slow. I ran a utility on it which indicated that the TubePress plugin (3.1) was the culprit. I temporarily disabled it and the site speed incresed by a great deal. I like TubePress and want to keep using it but not if it slows the site down this much. Is there a fix for this? Does nayone have any suggestions, help? Has anyone else run into this and fixed it?

Thanks very much

hello etubepress1,

You can try a few different things.  The first would be to upgrade to the newest version of TubePress, which includes "a “boot cache” that can dramatically speed up your TubePress"

Just follow the directions here:  http://community.tub...ess-boot-cache/  to get things all setup and you should see a very dramatic increase in the speed of your website.

Let us know!

Thanks!

Hi, Is this a server side config and is it enabled on Wix's servers? My page seems to load noticeably slower once the Tubepress app was placed within the site. Mainly on the home page. Thx Alex

Hello Souler,

Unfortunately, due to the limitations of Wix, we are unable to offer the boot cache option at this time. We are hoping that with their up-coming changes, we will be able to implement this and other features for our valued Wix customers.

Thanks!
