The Widget Isn't Supporting Https

Best Answer brandon , 05 December 2013 - 09:19 PM

Hi Jacek,

We have confirmed that this is in fact a bug and I have sent you a private message with the file that you need to replace in your tubepress installation.

The file's location is: tubepress_pro_3_1_2/src/main/php/add-ons/procore/classes/tubepress/addons/procore/impl/listeners/video/ProVideoConstructionListener.php

Once you have replaced that file, kindly let us know if you continue to experience any issues.

Thanks!

To anyone else following this post:  The patch will be release with TubePress 3.1.3 which should be out shortly.

Hi,
I have a little  problem with the import of thumbnails through HTPPS when shortcode I am putting to the widget.
I have a HTTPS use in placing emphasized and in the normal gallery and the player everything is acting. However when I put shortcode to the widget unfortunately thumbnails are being picked up by HTTP.
Here looks like it:

[tubepress https = "true"
mode = "user"
userValue = "username"
youtubeNewest = "all_time"
theme = "mytheme"
playerLocation = "popup"
description = "true"
descriptionLimit = "0"
hqThumbs = "true"
thumbHeight = "135"
thumbWidth = "180"
resultsPerPage = "4"]

From above I am thanking for help.
Jacek

Jacek,

Please post a link to your website, or a demo page, where you have TubePress setup and using the above shortcode.

Also, please make sure that TubePress Debug = True from WP > Settings > TubePress > Advanced.

Thanks!

Brandon,
I am sending the link to the demo page https://www.netspiri...et/test-widget/
After left for the side, at the bottom it is a gallery in the widget.
And here gallery + player put normally on the page https://www.netspiri...et/alle-videos/

I am thanking for help.

Hi Brandon
I still noticed one that's strange - when I will include "Use high quality thumbnails" - it is even in the normally put gallery of not cannon taking by HTTPS.

I checked on 2 servers.

Strange...

Jacek,

In comparing the two links you posted above, they are both pulling the thumbnails via HTTPS.

As for your other issue, when you use HQ thumbnails, on my testing server I am not seeing the issue of TubePress not pulling the thumbnails using HTTPS.  If you could please post a link to a page where you are using HQThumbs and HTTPS, I would be more than happy to take a look at it.

Thanks!

Hi Brandon

I am returning with the subject of problems with the import of miniatures through HTTPS when an option is included "Use high-quality thumbnails".
There is a preview on this test side http://bundle.pl/bun...st-https-thumb/
I have included "Enable HTTPS" and "Use high-quality thumbnails" - and the lack is at the moment of import of miniatures through HTTPS. he will be enough, that I will decorate "Use high-quality thumbnails" and the import is correct but of course are lacking "hqdefault".

Best Regards

Jacek

Hi Brandon,

I am giving the link directly

www.bundle.pl/bundle/tubepress-test-https-thumb/

PS. The Gallery no longer is installed in the widget, but normally on the page.

Best Regards

Jacek

Hello Jacek,

I receive:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request

bundle.pl

When I attempt to visit your site.

Please let me know once you have fixed that issue so I can troubleshoot your Tubepress install.

Thanks!
