Before purchasing the pro version, I want to make sure that TubePress can handle the following issues: 1) can I select "individual videos" from within Youtube and Vimeo into the same gallery; 2) can I have multiple galleries on the same wordpress page, with each gallery containing only 3 or 4 related videos; 3) can I present the gallery only with thumbnails and not present a full size video until one of the thumbnails is clicked; 4) can I create a gallery with private videos from our servers that are not on Youtube or Vimeo?  Thank you.

Hi Bob,

1) While yes, you could select individual videos from youtube and vimeo to be in the same gallery, the easiest and less prone to issues would be to create two playlists.  The first in Vimeo and the second in YouTube and then place to two playlists within one gallery of Tubepress.

2) Yes, you can have as many galleries on a single page as you wish.  You can also limit the number of videos displayed within the shortcode. Shortcode options here: http://tubepress.com...nfig:AllOptions

3) Yes, it is possible to display only the thumbnails, and not a main fullsize video, this can be done by creating your own template.  Directions here: http://tubepress.com...ustomize:Themes

4) At this time, TubePress does not support any video's except from Vimeo and YouTube, however you can "star" this feature request:  https://github.com/t...ress/issues/128

Feature requests with the most "stars" receive higher priority.

Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

Thanks!

I would like to know if TubePress can embed videos that I uploaded to my server. It is not clear to me if tubepress only work with youtube and vimeo or if I can actually be my own video plataform.

please let me know as soon as possible.

Humberto

Hi Humberto,

Currently, TubePress only works with Vimeo and YouTube videos, however you can always "star" this feature request: https://github.com/t...ress/issues/128

Feature requests with the most stars receive the highest priority.

Let us know if we can help with anything else.

Thanks!

Brandon, im lost with this plugin when it comes to using multiple galleries. What i want to do is to create a gallery for one page and a different gallery for another page, however, iwhen i set the global settings on my tubepress, its all the same., no matter what shortcode i try to use to display a different gallery i end up with the same gallery that is in the settings. I am so confused. Please help

Again, what want to do i page 1 place a tubepress shortcode to display a playlist from youtue and page 2 place a differnt shortcode for a differnt playlist from youtube. then page 3 place a shortcode that will show you a gallery of all my videos in my channel. can i do this all at the same time and how if i can?

Thanks so much!

iselag,

In order to create multiple galleries, you must use the [tubepress] shortcode with the various shortcode options, which can be viewed here: http://tubepress.com...nfig:AllOptions

An example would be [tubepress mode="tag" tagValue="'Jotta A'"]

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks!
