Shortcode Displays But No Gallery

Best Answer rodmiller , 03 July 2013 - 02:01 PM

So quick update, when I was trying to paste a word doc into a post, I noticed the formatting was completely hosed, no matter what I did.....

"take off and nuke the site from orbit, its the only way to be sure".......

Deleted WP and all the directories/plugins, started fresh, and woohoo everything works perfectly

Thanks for the great plugin,

Rod

hi, I am just installed TP latest version, looking for a little help, the shortcode displays instead of a gallery

Clean install of wordpresss via godaddy

clean install of TP via wordpress, then from tubepress.org

what i have tried:

disable all plugins except TP

delete TP, download from here and re-install

plugin shows as active, will deactivate/activate

setting are all default

except, set for "search" for videos

widget works fine

theme is "discover" 1.7.3

link is:

http://thecruisingli...ress_debug=true

any hints or help would be appreciated

Thanks Rod Miller

Hi Rod,

Please try inputting the tubepress shortcode using the Wordpress "text editor" instead of the "visual editor".

Let us know.

Thanks!

the shortcode was entered via the text editor, not visual. I also tried changing the theme back to default. ( I did actually search and read the forum posts before asking for help)

it must be something simple, even the debug info looks fine, just no gallery....
