I Thought This Would Be Simple!

Hi there

Just setting up a subscription-based tutorial site, with the videos hosted on Vimeo Pro as private videos, only embeddable from my domain. I then have a membership site plugin to protect the page where I intend to show the videos. So far, so good.

The thing is, I want to use a plugin which will give me a nice-looking gallery of all the videos on my Vimeo Pro account, but VP doesn't let you use playlists when your videos are protected. I am going mad trying to find a simple solution to this, and I figured TubePress might do it... do you? It would seem to me to be a really obvious thing to be able to do, and there must be thousands of other users who need to do similar?

Unfortunately, at this time, TubePress does not support private vimeo videos.  This is a feature that is very high on our list to get completed as soon as possible.

Are you able to provide any additional details on this? Are there no funds for development, is this on hold or too tricky? You've been saying it's coming soon for some time now and while we are all very patient, I need to know it's going to happen. One can't easily charge for video content long term that is freely available on vimeo... what needs to happen for this to eventuate?
