how does this work ? are all the results clubbed into one gallery ? is there a limit to the number of users that can be used ?

Yes, TubePress will go fetch the videos from as many sources as you like and combines them into a single, unified gallery.
Is there a limit to the number of users that can be used ?
No limit!
