Seth,

Which player are you trying to use?  Due to licensing issues, TubePress Pro does not include some of the needed files.

Please see here: http://tubepress.com...ss_Pro_Installs

Thanks!

I tried what you said: disabled all of my plugins, testing TubePress, and then slowly started re-enabling my plugins one by one and testing TubePress after I enabled each one... NO CHANGE....TubePress Pro still not working when I click on the videos.

That is the link to my site "video" page......go to the very bottom and I have videos displaying using Tubepress Pro, but they still won't play.  Please help.

I haves similar problems.

tubepress_pro_3_1_0_RC1 >>>>>>>>> this doesn't work at all.  It doesn't even add the Tuberpress link in the Settings menu in the WP dashboard area.

tubepress_pro_3_0_1 >>>>>>>>>>>>>> this better, but only the main video on the page plays.  All other thumbnails don't load videos.  The source code shows an A HREF link that loads the thumbnail but nothing to load the video.

tubepress_pro_3_0_0 >>>>>>>> this is the only version that has worked for me

In all tests I'm using the latest version of WP and the same WP theme. I have disabled plugins and re-enabled them.  I have uninstalled Tubepress and re-installed.

This is a lot of trial and testing for a product that I've paid for! :(

When you deactivated all plugins, did tubepress work properly?

Please let us know.

Thanks!

Ben,

Please start a new topic and post a link to your site where you are experiencing issues with your TubePress 3.0.1 install.

Also, please note the instructions here: http://tubepress.com...ss_Pro_Installs  regarding TubePress Pro and certain video players.

Thanks!

I purchased this some time ago and it has been useless to me thus far.  I disabled all the plugins and re-enabled them as you wanted me too.  Nothing happened and the plugin still doesn't work.  When you click the thumbnails they still won't play.  This plug-in seems to have a lot of issued looking at all the threads.  I have many plug ins that just work?

Please help me, so I can get something out of the money I paid for it.  HELP, HELP, HELP please.......

Go to the bottom of the webpage to see the plugin not working.

Scrappy,

When looking at your site, i see that the Comments DIV is overlapping the DIV containing TubePress.  This is causing an "invisible" layer to be placed over all of the thumbnails so none of them are clickable.  Using Firefox and Firebug, you can "delete" the comments DIV from your site (obviously not a permanent deletion) and see that the thumbnails do in fact work after removing it.  You can see the "overlay" in the attached image Attached File  tp1.png   212.22KB   2 downloads

One option to "fix" this issue is to change:

<div id="tubepress_gallery_5158528" class="tubepress_container">

to

<div id="tubepress_gallery_5158528" class="tubepress_container" style="z-align:10">

The other option is to talk to the makers of your theme and find out why the "title area" of your Comments section is overlapping with TubePress.

Let us know.

Thanks!

I have FireFox and Firebug.  I can't figure out exactly where to go when FireBug is open.  I am not good with code.  Can you be more specific.  I attached an image of FireBug opened.  Tell me where to go from there please.

Where and how in WordPress using your theme do I make the changes you described?  I am not good with code, so please be specific.  Also thanks for your help very much.FireBug.png

Hi Scrappy,

The easiest way to edit the file is to download the tubepress.css file (using FTP) from your website (located here: wp-content/plugins/tubepress_pro_3_0_1/src/main/web/css/tubepress.css )

and then edit the first few lines and then upload your new file to replace the old one.

This is how it looks originally:

.tubepress_container {
	float: left;
	margin-bottom: 2em;
	width: 100%;
}

And this is how it should look after your change:

.tubepress_container {
	float: left;
	margin-bottom: 2em;
	width: 100%;
        z-align:10;
}

Again, just upload that new file to replace the original and all should be working properly.

Let us know.

Thanks!

I appreciate that you do this stuff for a living, but I am an amateur at best.  In the backend of my WordPress website I went to appearance>editor.  There are a list of templates on the right hand side.  Where do I go from here to make this edit?  Please be specific with me and thanks for your patience.

Would you be willing to log in as wp-admin to fix it??

I don't know how to "download" the tubepress.css file (using FTP).  I don't even know where to start with those directions.

Scrappy,

Do you have FTP access to your web host?  If you are not sure, you should contact your web host provider and ask them for assistance.

Once you have FTP access, you can Private Message me the details and I will make the necessary changes so that your website works properly.

Thanks!

Scrappy,

I would need the FTP address, a valid username and password.  Once you PM me those details, I can log into your server and upload the modified file for you, then test and verify it is working properly.

Let us know.

Thanks!
