I am working on a site, and what I'd like to do is have a link in the main wordpress nav that appears on every page. The link would play the video over whatever page it was on. The video is the same on all pages... just don't know how to tell tubepress to do it.

Is this possible using tubepress?

Thanks

I've figured out a lot about doing this, and have a link now in the nav that calls a javascript when clicked. The function is currently empty, I want to use it to launch the video overlay.

What I need to know specifically is, how can I cause tubepress to launch a shadowbox with a video in it, on a page with no gallery or thumbnails visible? (from within a javascript function in the html page) I've tried a few tests, but can't even seem to launch a tubepress video from a secondary link on the same page as the gallery is posted.

I should add, that I'd be happy to be able to call a shadowbox from the link... but haven't seen any documentation on how to use the shadowbox that is built into tubepress... and I've seen a few comments about conflicts if I were to install the shadowbox plugin seperately. Any clarity here would be fantastic, I'm in a little over my head.

came back to edit to reflect the current state of affairs.

I've installed shadowboxJS plugin. It allows me to easily launch the shadowboxed video from the nav link as planned. Unfortunately, it breaks the TubePress gallery on one of the pages. The gallery still shows it's thumbnails, which activate a shadowboxed video on click... but the video loads and plays off screen, or it's invisible... I can hear it but only see the blackness of the shadowbox.

I would really love to use these plugins together... is there a way to cure the incompatibility?
