Customizing Video

I'd like to add a "sharing" widget (links to facebook, twitter, email, etc.) plus a link to download the file above each video that plays. I'd also like to add the "embed & URL" codes with each video below where it's playing.

I didn't see anything in the features that you can do this - can it be done? Basically, I like the way the demo basic gallery looks, but want to customize what appears around each video...these features are very important to my client and will determine the final decision in purchasing tubepress.

TubePress gives you 100% flexibility in customzing the HTML structure of your galleries via TubePress themes. In your case, you would create a custom theme (based off of the default theme as a starting point) and add in any custom HTML you'd like by editing your theme's gallery.tpl.php. Does that make sense?

I should note that I don't know of any particular HTML snippet for downloading YouTube videos - in fact as far as I can understand, as a non-lawyer, it's against their TOS. With Vimeo, they allow you to download their videos, but only by viewing the video directly off of vimeo.com (i.e. not in a TubePress gallery). Not sure if either of these will be a roadblock for you, but wanted to throw it out there.
